History

In 1996 Julian and Jackie started shopping for a house. The goal was to have a nice big home in San Francisco and to share the home with wonderful folks who we collaborate with on art projects, geek projects, and generally getting all one should from life. Turns out we like the excelsior district of San Francisco a bunch (and were able to afford the kind of place we wanted). Very residential, but close to mission and all the stores. Glimpses of an elusive counter culture. Every race you could hope for. Jackie goes to the neighborhood meetings sometimes.

Lots of creativity and yummy goodness has come from meerkat. Lots more will in the future. Collaborations and community are what makes the world go round.
