the scope and complexity is finally getting trimmed to something
which is both beautiful and completely reasonable to implement.

party was a blast!

Human Creativity Project . Is going wonderfully, although it
seems to take a while to get things just right.

2005
- Human Creativity Project.
That's all. Things are solidifying, growing, and expanding. There's
a lot more to come in time.
It's
very exciting.
- Julian went to Apache Con, took
photographs and made many more friends who may end up involved
with the Human Creativity
Project. He's taking more Edible
Light style photos these days. Well, actually he mostly just
works on the Human Creativity
Project these days, but when photographic creativity must pop
out, this
is the form it takes.
- Nicole now has a website
of sorts.
- Megan now has a website.
- Sandwich had her going
away party The "edible light" art form has evolved

Sprinkle's Spectacular Sex. Randal, Jackie, and I made the
photos and illustrations for it.
- Sandwich got a new laptop. She's been doing a bunch of work on
her room, making it super sandwichized.

after her current obligation ran out. The clinic clearly helps the
world massively. Thanks Nicole, for helping to save the world.

for Burning Man.
- We've started doing craft night. Some
nights kick ass, but on others we half skip it. This may change.

are some more house photos.
- I, Julian, am putting all my time into the Human
Creativity project. Things are going well, but more time and
resources are always needed. I'm always looking for collaborators

2004
Late 2004
- Thanksgiving
at Meerkat Manor 2004 It was yummyrific!
- Sandwich is in Antarctica
again. While she's gone Megan (who kicks ass) will be a Meerkat.
Megan camped with Supersnail camp at Burning Man in 2002.
- I (julian) got a great book agent. The next rev of the burning
man book is coming along well. I shot one more year at Burning Man.
- Everybody in Meerkat Manor camped together as part of Billion Bunny
Voyage to Lepus Landia camp. It was great.
- DA did the DPW thing at Burning Man. It went well. Now he's off
to travel.
- We had an awesome going away slumber party for Sandwich. It was
great. Lots of playing Atari 2600 and 7800 games. Lots of pillow
fights and cookies.
Mar 2004
- Randal and DA both frolicked around for the Brides of March.
- The basement is getting closer to where it should be. Getting rid
of tons-o-stuff. More to do still. We kept changing things in the
kitchen and now it's starting to settle into place quite nicely.
- We hung the "sky chair" in Nicole's room. Her room is
getting really close to being just the room she wants.
- Nicole and her kitty Jezebel moved in. Gosh, but she's super super
great.
- DA moved in! He'll be here for 3 great months. When he takes off
for DPW duty, Sandwichgirl will join us. Gosh, but life is good!
- Carolyn and her sweetie took off for Louisiana. So far we've gotten
a post card and an email saying their adventures are going well.
Feb 2004
- We have a Meerkat Manor tribe
- Recent
photo silliness
- Sandwichgirl left Antarctica
for New Zealand.
- We redid the area by the laundry downstairs. The old set up always
seemed awkward. The space wasn't being used well. Now it'll be better
and a no longer super icky.
- Jackie gave it a new paint job
- 4 shelves custom cut for odd spaces
- Repainted the garbage can (black with a silver stripe).
- New medicine chest.
- New cabinet shelf thing.
- The downstairs water closet/sky project is in the works. The old
walls, ceiling, and floor were removed. The new walls and ceiling
were installed and painted with primer. The new floor was cut. More
progress on this in this in time.
- Jackie heads to LA for a quick exciting trip. Ask her about it.
- We're all sorting and reducing the stuff we own. If something you
own isn't improving your life, then it's just dead weight. Reduce
+ organize.
- In moves Carolyn (sadly it's just for a month). She is so bouncy
and smart and helpful and neat!!!!
- Randal moves in all his stuff and his room takes shape. The house
seems so full of life and goodness right now.
Jan 2004
- Lots a work on the house. Wrapping up projects. Ben moves in and
cooks a kick ass pie full of lemon and sugar.
2003
- Dec 2003: Just starting to look for possible new Meerkats to replace
Jeff and Molly. We got a christmas tree and decorated it nice. Randal
is taking photos at the Sea Of Dreams new years party.
- Nov Dec 2003: Revamping the house a bit. We keep working on kind
of a massive spring cleaning. Jackie, Randal, and I keep redoing
things about the house and working on reducing and organizing stuff.
Jeff
is working on packing and making for less stuff. Yesterday he sold
off 17 boxes of his books.
- Nov 2003: Jeff writes a novel via the NaNoWrimo
project. It's his third successful one. You kick ass Jeff!
- Nov 2003: Randally Randal moves in. Not sure yet if this is permanent
or temporary. Depends on if this ends up being a 4 person household
or 5 person household. Randal is incredible to live with.
- Nov 2003: Molly moved in with her love Aaron (and out of Meerkat
Manor). They live in the castro now. I miss em so.
Jackie
and I need to visit em. Molly says we may be able to tempt em with
our washer and dryer.
- Oct 2003: Thanks to the ever incredible Molly Monster and a beta
test with a printer at her archive.org work,
Jackie, Randal, and I work on the Burning Man book non stop. Lots
of nights with no sleep. Now we have a proposal that looks likes,
feels, and tastes like an actual book. It really turned out like
I'd hoped. Quite political in many ways. Soon we'll be pushing to
find a great publisher.
- Sept 2003: The Burning
Man 2003 project worked out great. For a week at Burning Man
shot almost exclusively concept shots. This will help the book
a lot!!!!
- August 2003: Non stop prep for Burning Man. All Burning Man, all
the time. Molly and Jeff both let us know that in time they'll be
moving in with their respective sweethearts and sadly leaving Meerkatville.
- Meerkat Manor goes back 7 years, but the website is younger. For
more stories come over and ask to see the house book. Write something
in it if ya get the chance.
